Started on A Suitable Boy

I've started reading Vikram Seth's A Suitable Boy. It's enormous and I have a few BookCrossing books to read as well so it might be a while before I finish it.

I'm about 300 pages in - it's too big to take on the Tube so I've been reading lots of other books as well. I'm thinking of taking it on holiday with me so I get a decent chunk of reading done.
